Welcome to my Chinese Language Class! I am Yumin Deng. With over ten years deeply involved in the education and cultural fields, I have had the privilege of teaching in multiple international schools across China and the United States.

Currently, I am a full-time Chinese Language & Culture Faculty member teaching in a public school in the District of Columbia. I built this website and its interactive apps from scratch to provide my students with a fun, accessible, and highly effective way to review their Mandarin vocabulary and grammar.

My passion for education extends beyond spoken language. Through my cultural service company, the Xinyue Cultural Bridge Initiative (信月文化), I teach Chinese calligraphy—blending the beauty of the characters with the rich history behind them.
